I recently bought this William Castle thriller on DVD. I don't know if most will consider it up there with "House On Haunted Hill" or "The Tingler", but I got a real kick out of it. The ending was obvious all these years later, but it didn't detract from the film at large. There's a shockingly violent-for-the-time stabbing early on in the movie and Jean Arless is excellent as the tightly-wound Emily.
