happened at the time of the accident.
Here's some frames from the flashback early in the film. we never saw the faces of the driver and the victim purposely as to not give away the ending.
that would have come out in police review and cast doubt as to her being the driver of the car. Wouldn't there have been some witnesses who saw them leave the party together with Jane being too drunk
and /or someone see Blanche get into the driver's seat?
the car pulling toward the gate and the intended victim. We saw the victim walk towards the gate, but in fairly normal gait, not what you would expect someone who was "too drunk too drive", a plot hole.
If Jane was "too drunk to drive", how was she not drunk enough to be entrusted to walk out and open a gate? And, if she had command of her senses to listen to that instruction and carry it out,
why not remember she did that and was almost killed by the car lurching towards her? A bit of a plot hole.
we see the intended victim start to move, change direction, in response to the motion of sound of the vehicle approaching.
This key screen capture does show noone in front of the gate just before the car hit it. Action so fast, probably most of us didn't catch it.
No victim in front of the car afer the collission.
Blance sufffered a spinal injury, but I would doubt if that happended to someone, they would be able to open the door, crawl out of the vehicle, etc Plus with the car directly in front of the gate now, how would she
be able to position herself to make it look like she was outside when it happened?
Wouldn't a medical review show her injuries would not be consistent with being outside the car and in front of the gate when the occurance happened?
Another potential plot hole is when Jane heard the collissision, even if drunk, why wouldn;t she stop to investigate instead of run away?
