Disney cartoons are all about character, while Ub's studio's cartoons were expertly crafted they just never had characters that the audience could identify with or really like.

James Mason's voice is very distinctive Sam, but not quite unmistakable as that of Vincent Price...........my memory still managed to mess this one up though!
Maybe I just automatically connected Price with a Horror Project ..............very prejudiced of me!
