I even posted a Want Ad on Ioffer but nothing came of it, not a single response. Is it definite that it was shown on TNT? Searching online for it only brings you to this very thread.

Nov 4 11 6:05 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	If anybody is interested they also have monochromized versions of The Blue Bird, The Adventures of Robin Hood and other Technicolor titles. All of them in glorious black and white with tragic endings specially filmed.

Yeah, anyone can colorize a single frame grab, including me. -But has anyone seen the thing. I'll say no. Nov 5 11 11:09 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I remember that TNT ran a bowdlerized version of The Mask of Fu Manchu, something produced for later showings, with the racial slurs on both sides replaced with milder language. I had a VHS copy of this, but taped the restored version over it at the first opportunity. Now I wish I still had that odd version.

Nov 5 11 2:03 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I own the colorized versions of King Kong and The Thing. Nice black and white DVDs are still around for those. I saw Invasion of the Body Snatchers colorized on TV and loved it! I wish to heck I had taped it. I suppose it destroys the Film Noir, but I loved seeing a breakfast table with a red and white checked tablecloth and bright sunny glasses of orange juice. Call me crazy. I think the newly forming plant bodies may have been slightly greenish. Not sure. They stopped colorizing after around 1989. Possibly from incessant sqwaking from purists. I don't know if the process was popular with "the folks". I still have a newspaper ad for the triple bill where I saw The Mask of Fu Manchu in the early 70s where it appeared in its intact 35mm form for the last time until politically correct sissies got skittish. The film was never to recover from this butchery, but that's another topic.

But, of the three Turner network showings that I saw, none of them were colorized.
