Does someone have a list maybe, of all the movies that feature the monsters on the wall? Then I could find out what the creature was myself after some process of elimination (e.g. - I know it ain't Teenage Frankenstein, I know it ain't Mega Cucumber from It Conquered the World, I know it ain't the shot of Voodoo Woman (thanks, Friend of Daniel!), not the Suacerman, etc.

Sep 9 12 9:05 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	The film probably had nothing to do with Jack Pierce, and I'd bet nobody even thought of him when they did it. However, if anything it comes off as more of a homage rather than a swipe. It would have been nice if Jack in real life had made himself up as a caveman and then gone out and clubbed to death all the execs who gave him his walking papers. "Guy named Squeamy got thrown from the fifth floor. He's deader'n a mackerel."

Probably Pierce's two most famous creations, The Wolf Man and Frankenstein's Monster are highlighted. Pierce and Pete both being ousted from their position. The downfall of the studios' franchises that Pierce and Pete helped make a success. The new regime at the respective studios. And even the subtler inclusion of Pete's "new makeup technique" could be seen as a reference to the foam appliances Pierce disliked and was reluctant to use (although he did use them at times). Do I consider this a homage to Pierce? No. Nor do I consider it any kind of bio. But I think the parallels are more than coincidental. Take THAT, Bembridge Scholars!
