Jun 9 12 4:14 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Glad I finally caught up with this one. But it's kinda third tier Hammer. The Druid priest was over the top fun. He really got into it. I dug that they had that Braveheart warrior face paint. They sure got their mileage out of those chariots.

Nov 2 12 2:11 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Just watched this for the first time and I have little to add to what's already been said. It's nice to see Andrew Keir, Niall MacGinnis, Adrienne Corri and other familiar British faces. And Carita was cute, but that's about it. What I did notice was that, at the very, very end when Salina (played by Carita) is stabbed, Don Murray rides up on his horse and very clearly yells "Carita!!" I replayed it 3 times to make sure I heard it right. Now, I'll admit it's possible he yelled something that was not quite "Carita" but whatever else it might have been, it sounded a hundred times more like "Carita" than "Salina." Hard to say why it was left in. Murray was alone on screen, riding his horse into frame as he yelled. It's even possible that the line was post-dubbed, which would make it even weirder. It would have been so easy to fix, if anybody noticed, or if anybody cared. The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously. Hubert H. Humphrey

Nov 2 12 7:21 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Is this not the movie with the famous "Roman legionnaire with a wristwatch" shot? The movie isn't much, though I do enjoy watching it. Hammer Glamour says nothing other than Carita left acting after VIKING QUEEN to devote time to family.
