Nov 4 10 5:54 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	The Thriller-A-Day blog says that Tom Weaver has five books coming out, but the only one I can think of off-hand (even counting on my five fingers) is the long-awaited second volume of Universal Horrors. So what are the others, Tom? And will there be a box set? With isolated music tracks?

Nov 4 10 6:15 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I'm absolutely determined to have UNIVERSAL TERRORS--THE 1950S done next year ... along with my next book of horror/sci-fi interviews ... and a book with all the interviews with Western folks I've done for WESTERN CLIPPINGS magazine over the last few years. The latter is all done. Bob Burns has been under the weather so our book KONG AND THE GREAT GORILLA GUYS, about his experiences with KING KONG vets and with other gorilla suit actors, started several years ago, is approximately 90 percent done and HAS been 90 percent done for about a couple years now; I'd love to think that'll get finished in 2011. Then ... the fifth one is kind of a "cheat" ... a book on THE HIDEOUS SUN DEMON, but it'll be MagicImage-ishly made up of two VERY different drafts of the script, plus the treatment for a sequel Robert Clarke planned in the '80s, along with lots of intros, photos, posters, everything I can pull together. If THAT goes over well, I'd like to think I'll be able to do a few more books like that ... which would mean more than five books out in 2011. Maybe I'm dreamin' and it won't all come together next year ... but trying to make it happen will at least keep me out of trouble.

The Sun Demon driving a motorboat... the Sun Demon in a bam-bam-pow-pow gunfight... the Sun Demon with a rockstar offspring... the Sun Demon who has unaccountably survived bullets and discovery for 40 years.... aaayyyeeee!!

Nov 5 10 1:58 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I don't have it at my fingertips (and I'm now leaving the house to go out for the evening) but -- the short answer is no, it's got nothing to do with the comic book. This is THE AMAZING SHE-DEMON (or some title like that), a treatment that Robert Clarke paid Arthur C. Pierce (BEYOND THE TIME BARRIER, HUMAN DUPLICATORS, etc.) to write in the '70s or '80s. I haven't read it in years, I forget what it's about. Well, it's "about" 15 pages!
