I really enjoyed it--lots of colorful images including rare posters and lobby cards, lots of images from the DVD, some nice anecdotes about the filming, and a good survey of the film's fate in distribution hell in the US and elsewhere. Well worth reading if you're a fan of this film! H.

Jul 30 11 6:10 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I just caught the film for the first time today via Netflix streaming --the crummy-looking Retromedia version, with some added streaming choppiness and macroblocking-- and... WOW! I can't believe something this cool and fun has flown below my radar all these years! I'd love to grab that superior German DVD release, but the exchange rate and the international shipping prices it over $52 used (at the cheapest) and nearly $100 new. Considering that there's a nice transfer done, already married to the english track, why hasn't an outfit like Severin, Blue Underground or Synapse tackled a stateside standard or Blu release in all this time, especially with Christopher Lee headlining it? Alot of companies won't touch a movie that was bootlegged already because of lower sales.
