Jun 1 12 6:50 AM More My Recent Posts	I hate the film costume - or more specifically, I hate the way it appears in publicity. In the movies it tends to be suitably and appropriately dark, but all the 'plastic-looking-armour' shots undermine it's effectiveness. I've always wanted a full frontal cape: one that falls over the front of the outfit when Bats isn't in motion, hiding his gadgets, belt, etc. Just makes it more mysterious and less plastic armour-looking.

He is neither Hal Jordan, nor the original Alan Scott. This whole new Earth2 series is kind of strange in that the original concept of Earth2 was to appeal to fans who remembered and liked the original versions of the characters after they had been replaced in the main line of books with new versions. Here we are just given more new versions.

Jun 1 12 10:06 PM More My Recent Posts	alan scott is not so popular that an army of fans will have major problems compared to say hal jordan.there are fans of alan scott ,me for example ,that do not like the choice. i am not old enough to have bought the 40`s comics new but from 63 or so i became a big fan of the golden age green lantern. i will say no more on the subject.

I always thought this one was kind of sick and based on a gross misunderstanding of the character as well as a misunderstanding of homosexuals.In the comics Robin is a child. While it would be possible for Batman to be gay (though he has not been depicted as gay), it would not be possible for him to be a child molester and still be a character who is supposed to be a hero. Also, I think the notion that most gay men would be OK with a grown man having a sexual relationship with a teenager is a stereotype that should have died out by now. None of my gay friends are child molesters and I'm pretty sure Batman isn't either.
