Apr 16 12 3:43 PM More My Recent Posts	If we are just going with looks, the more of Hathaway I see, the less I like her as Catwoman. Mind you, I have no stakes in this race, and have never been all wobbly kneed about Cat. But I don't know, she is just very "meh." This is not to say she still can't pull the role off, but from a strictly visual aspect, she isn't doing anything for me. Hathaway and Johansson are both attractive women, and they'll look onscreen however the filmmakers think their characters should look (actors are blank canvasses really and movies are ALL illusion). That said, we have no idea how Catwoman is going to be portrayed, while we have a very good idea what Black Widow is going for. Based off that, Johansson has the edge so far. But stay tuned ..... (Btw, Disney is doing right by THE AVENGERS via in-theatre advertising, with each member getting their own 10 ft. banner -- gentlemen will go ga ga over the larger than life full figure foto of the female S.H.I.E.L.D. superspy )

I'm a huge Christopher Nolan fan, as well as a fan of Batman Begins and the Dark Knight- but everything about this film seems so underwhelming. It's a general vibe I'm picking up around the web regarding this movie. I think Warner Bros. thinks this is a surefire boxoffice smash, but a large majority out there seem to have the same reaction to every bit of info that gets released of this film, just sort of ho-hum. Last I heard the Avengers was actaully tracking higher than Dark Knight Rises in terms of box office awareness and interest. I have no doubt it will be a good movie, but really Warner Bros need to stop resting on their laurels and start hyping this thing up. Regarding the new trailer - I hate to say it, because I am fan of what Nolan did with the first two films, but I'm starting to think the whole thing has gotten too serious and too heavy for it's own good. That's just my initial feeling after seeing this latest trailer.

Not to mention the fact that the movie opens in two days in the US, and is already in release almost everywhere else. Let's see if that situation remains when the Batman promo goes into high gear within the next month.
