But I'm not arguing... SAM33 Well done. I just got a U.S. copy from the Amazon Marketplace for 55 bucks all told. I'll generally check for a like new or still shrink-wrapped copy. This still had the Best Buy full retail sticker on it. And it was from a reputable seller I'd bought from before. Pays to wait, I guess.

Saw a great restored film print on a huge wide classic theatre screen a couple of years back. Here's another film where size really matters if you ask me. TEN COMMANDMENTS is a film I loved as a kid, but just can't seem to find the time to sit all the way through as an adult. I've watched the last DVD version (really already a very nice pressing) only once. I can't see buying this one again on Blu except from the bargain bin. SAM33

SAM33 I think my folks watched a bit of this once when I was a kid, and said it was "corny" which was the kiss of death for our house. SOUND OF MUSIC suffered a similar fate, and I didn't see that til I was an adult (and I agreed with the folks). I'm curious about TEN COMMANDMENTS, but more as Hollywood-Squares biblical camp.
