At least for me between 1958 and 1968 Draculee started looking a bit long in the tooth. Once he's Risen, I don't see or feel that same vicious animalistic aura he once exuded. Almost a bit of a parody. It's a shame Hammer left that window open too long. A missed opportunity to catch Lee in his sinister prime..

(If Hammer had not cut corners and made their Drac more supernatural in nature instead of making the poor excuse that those abilities were "a common fallacy", then Dracula probably COULD have turned into mist and seeped through that grate!)
