May 19 12 1:41 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	My opinion of the world postal system has risen from the grave. My replacement arrived here in Calgary on Monday more through luck than anything. They only had my name, street address and country to work with - the city, province and postal code were mysteriously absent. The blu-ray disc looks and sounds great. Anyone want an occasionally out of sync Region B Blu and/or a couple of region 2 DVD's, one in sync?

The sound is out of sync in a lot of place's, the colours are very poor, it's like they have drained the blue from the film. If this is how the rest are going to turn out I will stick with my dvd versions. Bar the 30 min documentary, a total waste of money. I will be returning the disc for Money back and no replacement, what a poor disc.

I have an Anchor Bay disc with the commentary with Lee, Shelley et al. and I think it is fine for what it is. I know some find it unwatchable due to some technical issues but luckily I was born lacking such superacute faculties. cheers, H.

Jun 15 12 11:36 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Thanks Guys, Is it just me and this first disc, I have a widescreen video version, the German dvd, and a U.K. dvd and the colours are far better than the blu-disc. This is getting to be ridiculous. I may get the "improved disc" now as curiosity is getting the better of me... Plus I can blame The Squire if it's still poor colour...

Could this be so? "You can't smell any reefer, can you"?

Aug 29 12 1:35 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Ya know, I want to start with this one for my UK Hammers but am afraid to wait forever here in NJ only to have it be a dud and THEN wait another hundred years for a replacement and as I'm not region ready for blu anyway it would only be for the dvd version. I wonder if I can ask upfront if the amazon disc I order is from the new batch? Would they even know what I'm talking about? So many great Hammer titles I want from the UK perhaps I should start with a different one? If I could make up my mind for once I might be able to get something going before halloween rolls around. So what I want to ask for those who have recieved and have scrutinized this disc (the blu preferably- even though I cant view it) - is it worth all the bull I may possibly go through for Drac P of D? Is there a consensus? Thanks in advance, Jim -who once went through the trouble to GO TO ENGLAND (told the girlfriend it was a vacation and it kinda was with an alterior motive) in the late 80's (very early 90's ?) to buy a bunch of Hammer videos not available here in the USA, have them transferred at an extortionate price only to get screwy looking vids of these then grail films.
