This is the animated TV series based on the 1998 Columbia/Tri-Star film. The episodes are complete, unlike on Crackle, and also contains the rarely seen episodes: #26 "The Ballad of Genus Du Marais," #29 "Vision," and #39 "Tourist Trap." I saw it on YouTube a few months back, someone had taped it and uploaded it off a Canadian channel. I'm going to rewatch it on Netflix but it's an alright episode. Mutant hummingbirds that can fly so fast they become invisible is different but interesting and the reason they give for why the special glasses they develop can only be worn by Godzilla is actually scientifically acceptable.

Oct 7 10 12:03 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I saw all the "lost episodes" on YouTube when I realized they were available. I think Episode #39 "Tourist Trap" is the best of the three. I like the monster and the idea that you would have tourist companies trying to make money off taking people to watch giant monsters fight even though it would be remarkably unsafe. Also Monique gets some good moments in that episode. Episode #26 "The Ballad of Genus Du Marais" is probably my least favorite. It's essentially a variation on Episode #7 "What Dreams May Come" but with a more metaphysical than science-fictional angle which I don't think works in this kind of show.
