I know the three-disc combo packs (Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Copy) have become fairly standard, but I think Disney is upping the ante with PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME - at least, I haven't noticed this on other recent Disney home vid releases: They now include a code you can use to watch the film online at Disney.com/WatchMovies.
Not that long ago, movie studios and record companies were trying to sell you limited rights and expecting you to make multiple purchases if you wanted to watch/listen at home, in you car, and at the office or on vacation. Now, with one package, you pretty much get it all: the Blu-ray for the main room; the DVD to watch on the small tv in your bedroom or in a portable dvd player; a digital version for your computer and your portable device; and an online version you can watch anywhere if you forget to bring any of the first three with you.
Not bad.
