In the former, there's a small jump cut during the cat fight, in an otherwise very nice print of the film. In the inferior AMC print, there's no jump cut, and the brunette shouts something that sounds like "I'll mash you on the butt!"

I do know that she gave one of those weird "bad actress/good performance" things that all the women in the film manage to do. (Except Virginia Leith, who is genuinely good in it.) In fact, I think the way she delivers those corny lines of hers is hilarious.

The script actually indicated that this would be shot THREE ways: a clothed vesion for the U.S.; a slightly racy version (described vaguely--perhaps she was meant to be topless, but the breasts wouldn't be shown); and a topless version for Europe. MGM found the international version with the nudity, but wouldn't release it after the SWAMP THING fiasco.Okay, I realize this is an ancient thread but perhaps someone--especially Jameson--is monitoring this and can reply: Did you actually see a BTWD print with nudity or are you going by what the script called for, i.e. not personally able to vouch the nudity exists. I heard they had a bunch of the gals stripping at a party to raise $ from money marks but that the supposed nudie footage was just mentioned more as a lure and not really intended to be part of the actual film. Please unfog my confused dome. Thanks!
