There really aren't that many 'name that movie' threads, and people, it seems to me, usually try to post them in the most likely folder. I think that should continue. I also think the Members Review section is a waste of space and should go. But Movie of the Day is one of my very favorite parts of the board and it must NEVER go. As for the Spy folder--sure, why not. Really doesn't matter to me, and I probably won't spend much time there.

Aug 23 10 2:51 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	About the art threads: I wonder if a special folder should be made for the extremely popular threads to live, like THE CLASSIC MONSTER ART CHALLENGE! The CHFB Member Art Gallery Rockpainterx Color pics and clips Colorization by Horror30 And just have them in their own folder at the very top (maybe in the "We Bid You Welcome" area)... that way, they are always at the top, their fans can find them, and in many respects they can help with the board welcome... if this idea was considered, I would also vote that there be no option to add a new thread on the board, only to add to those 4 existing threads, helping to keep the focus on them. If any other wildly creative threads are made, they could be moved there too. And the folder could be called "The Welcome Hearse" or something like that...

The main argument I would give for retaining the folder is simply that it is part of a continuing series, and having it gathered in one folder allows those that are following it as such a single place to find everything. If we discontinued the folder, the reviews would be scattered, and those following the series would have to hunt all over the board to find the new entry each day, especially if it ended up buried in a pre-existing thread. Either way you go on this, there will be some unfortunate side effects. No, my friend, you haven't seen everything that can happen to a cow. That would be scientifically impossible.

There are a LOT of gorgeous ladies to be reckoned with:from Brigitte Helm and Mary Philbin right on through 2010. Wouldn't that relieve pressure on some of the other folders? Aug 30 10 6:15 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Well, part of the problem would be if you have folders for Boris and Bela and Lon and Creighton...what about Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing and Lionel Atwill and George Zucco and Peter Lorre and Paul Naschy and Robert Englund....where does it end and who makes that decision? Then why not a folder for James Whale. Then Tod Browning, Mario Bava, Roger Corman, Erle C. Kenton, John Carpenter, Lucio Fulci, Ishiro Honda...if you catch my drift. I think it's much better the way it is, without everybody plugging for his or her personal favorite. Personally, I think there are just about enough folders. The problem is too many threads. I hate to be one of those 'Thread Police', but if people would just search a little before opening a new topic, they might find some really neat stuff already drifting out with the tide which they could rescue and to which they could add. Just my little pet peeve.

Actually, this may be a bad idea... I knew a guy on another board who would egg people on to do something crazy, then erase all their own posts to make them appear to be the victim in various confrontations... I could see much abuse of this.
