I particularly like things like Gil Melle's soundtracks in the 70's, or Eno stuff (it would be great to get his Land of the Minotaur on album), though early pioneers like Delia Derbyshite or the folks behind the Forbidden Planet soundtrack are quite cool too.

I've got the Dream's soundtrack to Legend (which I sacrilegiously like better than the Goldsmith version overall), and I've got one of their solo albums (something called Zeit)... I think the deserve a closer look!

As someone else mentioned I would love for Eno's soundtrack to LAND OF THE MINOTAUR to be released. Also Andrew Belling's synth score to Ralph Bakshi's WIZARDS is one I've always enjoyed. Oct 10 10 3:09 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	My favorite cue from THE KEEP is the one for the scene when the thing (Molasar?) first emerges. It incorporates a piece of Thomas Tallis choral music, "Gloria." I have it on my laptop but am away from it right now. Anyway, I recommend the original piece--the bit used in THE KEEP is very short, but the complete piece is beautiful. Its use in the movie was a wonderful "birth" moment, played for the sense of awe, not horror.
