Jun 20 11 11:20 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I just today listened to the 1946 Screen Guild Theater radio adaptation with Karloff, Eddie Albert as Mortimer, with Verna Felton and Jane Morgan as the aunts. Distilled down to a half-hour of high points, it was quite entertaining, without the bloat and occasional strain of the movie. Albert doing a proto-GREEN ACRES "slow burn among the crazies" was fun too - it's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of A&OL.

Yes, pretty sure that's "The Man in Black," one of my favorite radio Character Men. But though Albert is fun there, 30 min. is just not enough time for the piece! On that level, I prefer the 60 min.
