The Netrflix version is probably from MGM. Same transfer as the DVD/Blu-ray, but when Synapse (or somebody) got their hands on it they tweaked the levels so it looks like you're watching the movie with sunglasses on.

Not really on the NETFLIX version. The timing seems right - looks like "night" but you can still see detail. Went back and looked at the BD to be sure my memory is correct and it was. On the BD you need to push the brightness up to see detail and rid yourself of the "sunglasses". The NETFLIX transfer is better than what is on the Synapse disc IMO. "I saw what I saw when I saw it!"
