I bought a copy of The Changeling at Borders the other night. Now I've always heard good things, and it got good reviews on the Bravo channel's "scariest" countdown, but I'd never seen anything but clips or bits of the "edited for TV" version while channel surfing. That said, wow! This movie gave me a serious case of the chills. And without buckets of blood, or any cgi at all. I think all of the effects in this film are either practical on the set, or done in-camera.
They really don't make them like this anymore.
I know this movie was released in 1980, but this forum seemed like the best fit.
Any other fans of this picture?

Joey-"Ross, I've got a science question for you".
Ross-"Science. Yes,I've heard of that".
Joey-"If the homosapiens are in fact, HOMO-sapiens, is that why they're extinct?"
Ross-"Joey, homosapiens are people!"
Joey-"Hey, I'm not judgin'."
