Mar 6 10 12:47 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I didn't know this was one, but I happed to turn the car radio and heard the line about how many films Price had made vs. how many Reeves had made. Second I heard the line, I screamed "Witchfinder General" with glee! - to dissaproving stares from the family!

Mar 7 10 8:31 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I though it was interesting and enjoyed it. The guy playing Tony Tenser, Keneth Cranham, was excellent. Nickolas Grace didnt really sound enough like "Vinnie" to me but actors playing Ian Ogilvy and Hilary Dwyer sounded spot on. Michael Reeves came over as a little Sh@t even if he was trying to get a different performance out of Vinnie and was Vinnie really that camp off camera? Russ

Russ I assume it wasn't a docudrama because I can't believe Reeves was that bad with actors. His idea of directing Price was just, don't make faces? He didn't talk to him before filming on how to approach the character? He didn't have at least a table reading of the script before shooting? This play would have you to believe Price hammed it up in all his previous movies. He was very restrained in Tomb of Ligelia. And I don't recall Alfred Hitchcock complaining that Price hammed it up when he he directed him in one of the best Alfred Hitchcock Presents episodes (he did complain about Charles Laughton). I doubt Price acted like that off camera. He replaced the very campy Gene Shalit as host of PBS Mystery and wasn't campy at all. Last Edited By: will Mar 7 10 3:05 PM. Edited 1 times.
