I'm surprised this movie didn't have a thread
THEY CAME FROM BEYOND SPACE (1967) from Amicus is about aliens, in meteorites, that come to earth with a big construction project on their minds. Get it, on their minds? Oh, never mind.
It seems that people either love this movie or hate it. Personally, I think it's a great movie. It's got that British sci-fi feel to it sort of like early Doctor Who or Gerry Anderson's UFO, both of which I thoroughly enjoy.
I do have to say that I'm not fond of the ending though. It feels almost like an awkward afterthought tacked on to the end. The ending is fine as far as the story goes, but the acting and the way it is played out feel awkward.
Anybody like to chime in?
