I just didn't have the time to search through all the threads in this folder, so, if my comments here should be placed elsewhere, please feel free.
My wife and I watched this last night. I may have seen it during my Monster Kid days, but didn't remember any of it. My wife, on the other hand, kept commenting on certain scenes, then said, "Isn't this the one where...?" and proceeded to describe the last scene (correctly). I'm constantly amazed by her eclectic set of memories.
Anyway, my reaction was mixed. The acting was abysmal, but can be pushed off to the fact that the cast was composed entirely of Danish players. I gotta give ol' Sid Pink and Poul Bang credit, though, for centering the film's action on miniatures and puppetry. Reptilicus was a full-blown puppet, not just a sock with a hand in it. It's green venom, however, was never fully explained, and the swallowing of a cartoon human was pretty miserable. Other than that, Reptilicus certainly stands up fairly well against Sid Pink's other genre "creations" -- The Twonky, Journey to the Seventh Planet. and Angry Red Planet (there are a heckuva lot more shots of Reptilicus than the bat-rat-spider puppet from ARP).
