Yes, I know it was made by 20th Century Fox, but I figured this was the best place to discuss the film because it of how connected it is to the Universal
Frankenstein films.
So what are people's thoughts on Young Frankenstein? I've always loved it and I love it now even more because of the experience I now have with the classic Universal films.I just picked up the Blu-ray and man is it stuffed to the gills with extras (and a lot of new exclusive HD ones too), and lots of clips of the Universal films. It's a laugh riot and it's also so gorgeous looking with the set design. It really feels like a Universal film, far more than Grindhouse felt like a Grindhouse film. Creating another era of film is a task few can pull off, but Young Frankenstein does it with perfection.
