Yeah, I know. That's the point of the joke - that Rory is now a Dalek. After all the things he has been through the seasons, he might as well be a Dalek now as well.

Rose was good, as was Catherine Tate's character. We're just into the Matt Smith episodes now and so far, I don't mind him, but I'm not big on Amy. And the wife and I are both really sick of Daleks, and, to a lesser extent, Cybermen. Every time there's a reveal of a Dalek in a show, we both groan... I guess there's no escape, though.

You will never complain about too many Dalek episodes again.

Thanks to Netflix I've finally seen all the regular Matt Smith episodes (sans the Christmas specials ).I'm glad I watched them as they were for the most part entertaining and worth my time. For me, it's not Doctor Who (the Doctor I grew to love) in the original sense. I see where it's referred toas NuWho or NewWho... hmm, think I'll call it Doctor Mk II (I'm a big Deep Purple fan). It's good but different. Like Mark Morgan & Hal Lane, I'll accept it on its own merits. Most of the complaints I see posted here by the more critical of you, I do agree with... I'm just not discerning enough to let it keep mefrom not watching how this franchise continues to evolve. My overall review of Smith's Doctor:Kinetic, frenetic, with a whole bunch of yelling, goofing, and running, running, running. Too much manipulativeemotion grubbing and not enough decent story telling. But, I'll still be back for Smith's third series.fwiw- Jay

I love how composers like Paddy Kingsland, Peter Howell, etc. created memorable themes and incidental music. I absolutely love the EARTHSHOCK score. The series never sounded so frightening.
