Aug 19 09 10:23 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I saw this movie in a theatre when I was, oh, 7 or 8, along with all the other AIP/Universal/Allied Artists monster pictures of the 1950s, which played our local downtown grindhouse in triple features throughout the mid-1960s, and I have to tell you, THE SHE-CREATURE was one of the best to us. It had a great monster that was rarely shown, leaving a lot to our imagination. We loved it. "Garbak is a tyrant who rules the planet harshly! Aug 25 09 2:20 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Not as much fun as THE UNDEAD, but with its own past-lives angle, THE SHE-CREATURE has a moody quality for its low budget and a decent cast. Granted, most of them had been in better movies, and several of them even showed up in VOODOO WOMAN, a movie that for all its problems has an enjoyable goofiness about it.

The green paint on the slippers is the only remnants of the suit it once held on top of it. A lot of the wonderful execution of that suit is in the paint job, which was obviously lost by GHOST when the mask was already starting to fall apart. J. Theakston Capitol Theatre, Rome, NY

Jun 23 10 6:58 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	All of the differences between TSC and TGODH monsters are things added on, e.g. as Ted indicated, the thorns, the dorsal plates, the shoulder wings etc. It seems like the basic suit that Blaisdell created was probably more like TGODH than TSC even though TSC came first. Could the suit have been created for something entirely different than TSC and then been modified to be used for TSC when the original project folded? What could that original project have been?
