I have a question about the scene when the Doctor is about to push Loren's body into the pit of acid. My screen went black at that exact moment for about five seconds. Is that a flaw in my DVD or does the movie go black right there to conceal what is happening? Smiley

Oct 11 07 5:52 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	This has one great shock scene, and the bit with Ohmart and the impossibly lively rope is pretty good. It's also fun to hear her and Price purr sweet venom at one another. But otherwise, I think the movie is mostly second-rate.

Oct 12 07 12:17 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	For me, HOHH is the perfect haunted house Halloween movie...fun but silly shocks (I remember the first time I saw it, the blind housekeeper scared the pants off me!), Elisha Cook doing his Elisha Cook thing, the skeleton in the vat, Vincent Price at his sinister/tongue-in-cheek best...I just love it. Just looked at the IMDB: HOHH was her last film, and the first one she'd made since 1922 (!), that one being MUD AND SAND, a Stan Laurel-starring parody of Valentino's BLOOD AND SAND.
