I draw cartoons of KONG, and have included him in a 'cameo' role in some strips. 'the horror..............THE HORROR!'

Such life and it has a cool 70's monster art vibe to it. What a winner! I love them all but I might have to go with this one as a fave if I was forced to make a choice. After so many new pieces of Kong art are you all aped out? I got that way after working on all the pirate pictures. My Website Monsters are such interesting people.

It's just that, for now, I've got much more of my paying statistical work on my plate. I'm also dealing almost daily with medical hassles regarding prescriptions and low income medical programs. Things have changed since Zombie Mom lost her job. Also....it's become much harder for me to draw in cold weather--and we must keep the temperature pretty low in here for financial reasons. ZD

This Thanksgiving, after the parade was over, we didn't have enough time to watch KING KONG before heading out to relatives. So as a compromise we listened to the Marco Polo re-recording of Max Steiner's score, and it sort of put me in the Turkey Day mood. So it takes an ape to make me think about a turkey. Go figure. Thanks to Messrs. Morgan and Stromberg for that and thank you, "Zombie Dad" Roger for your superb artwork. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

(12/04/09 7:09 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite	ZOMBIE DAD: here's some examples of my cartoon stuff, in which KONG makes a cameo appearance: although KONG is not the 'star' of my strip, he appears now and again, in a supporting role: here are the 'key' characters of my strip: many finished inked-in strips exist of the strip, but sadly, they're too wide to add in here.....I intend getting scaled-down photocopies soon, though, so hopefully examples should be posted before long......
