I found NAKED BLOOD pretty mediocre after years of reading about it but the tempura scene where the girl batters and deep fries her hand and starts eating it was a definite show stopper haha.

Another good recommendation would be Kinji Fukasaku's "Battle Royale" (2000), a film set in Japan's near future where "youth issues" are dealt with by having junior high school students (aged between 14-15) compete in a "there can be only one" survivor-style competition (in which they have no choice but to "play") Although the film does take a stab at social commentary concerning the stress put on Japanese youth, the bulk of the film centers on the teenagers devising interesting and ingenious ways too kill each other (with whatever weapons are at hand) Controversial in its native Japan, it STILL hasn't gotten any "official" theatrical or dvd releases stateside. But, I'll suggest: Crank 2 (2009) (unbelievable, outrageous, over-the-top grindhouse) Cannibal Ferox (1981) (not as mean spirited, and more fun than Cannibal Holocaust) Jungle Holocaust (1977) (how did Deodato get his actors to go along with this insanity?) Inside (2007) (French horror has gone way, way over the top the past few years.....also check out Frontier(s), Martyrs and High Tension) Rambo (2008) (jaw dropping, unexpected and uncalled for violence) but, without a doubt the most disturbing, disgusting and depressing film ever: Marian Dora's Cannibal (2006)

Of course more recent gore fests probably topped it but it was bloody. The remake of the Thing was pretty gory...I don't really watch movies that just poor gore all over me, guess that's why I like the vintage stuff....a little more plot driven ya know
