Oct 28 09 5:16 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I thought it high time to start a thread for science-fiction themed music videos (or at least ones with sci-fi imagry), particularly after finding this one - Debbie Harry of Blondie solo, with the song Now I Know You Know, directed by H.G.Giger: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHDQWJvftk4 Giger did another one for Debbie Harry called Backfired, but I think it's somewhat less remarkable visually: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLkVWcyPg8o The only other one that I can think of right now is Billy Idol's Dancing With Myself, which is sci-fi by way of Blade Runner and post-apocalyptic imagry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VNx78SAq8M Surely there have got to be a number of other sci-fi music videos....

But one pretty weird one that I've always liked is "She's A Beauty" by The Tubes. (Speaking of "funhouse imagery," it has that in a very literal way.)

This one has Rick leading a revolt against alien lizard overloards. Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science" has a nice "mad science" vibe to it... There's also a pretty good video for the song "Girlfriend" by Matthew Sweet that uses a lot of anime.... "[The audiance] will populate the darkness with more horrors than all the horror writers in Hollywood could think of. The song is a great tune, RUSH is the best band of all time (imho), and the video itself is a hoot - - very ambitious, colorful and cheesy in a wonderful 1980's kind of way.
