I don't think I had ever seen this movie before purchasing the MGM Midnite Movies edition recently.
I must say I found it a cut above most late 50s horror flicks. It borders on Film Noir, the plot was different (no pun intended... well, maybe a little), and actually pulls you in at times which is unusual after being jaded with more modern entries. The cinematography was also not the norm but think they may have used that fade-away perspective shot once too many.
Does anyone else feel the same way?
