Actually - the artist's wife is the main inspiration, from what I understand!
"I am an excitable person who only understands life lyrically, musically, in whom feelings are much stronger as reason. I am so thirsty for the marvelous
that only the marvelous has power over me. Anything I cannot transform into something marvelous, I let go. Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in
intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls." - Anaïs Nin

Actually, the sculptor is said to be influenced by the work of artists like Robert Crumb. Way to make me feel like a heel, Dr. Acula. But I still think the
inspiration was Aretha.

I wouldn`t buy any of those things USED.
I guess y`all have to like
overly plump women.

Price is a bit steep--ranging $70-150.00 as found online. Cute, in that Coop Crumb girl sort of way. Here are some others--warning--nudity (Franken Babe

These dolls are a form form of pin up art, but influenced by the tastes of black and Hispanic men. The toys are very well sculpted. It's nice to see more
than one type of beauty celebrated.

I like women with some meat on them, but that's TOO much meat!

She is large in her bigness, what with the size and all.

I just saw this statue in one of the comic stores here in NYC. It's pretty nice looking. She was in a display case and, of course, was covered up but still
very nice.

Not that far off from the dimensions of Jessica Rabbit, or even the many girls Frazetta painted over the years....

Yeah, Frank was into women who were a bit more curvy than your average supermodel these days... If you look at his famous "Egyptian Queen" you'll
notice that she has a little bit of tummy... (Not that I'd complain. I prefer healthy women to those that look like greyhounds.)

the mind's eye will read anything into it you want! We're great ones for the dark patches." -VAL LEWTON

I've seen this figure before. I think it's fantastic! I would love to have one, if I had extra money to spend. I also love the little cats that come
with!
