Never mind. Carry on. I 've learned to not click on this thread until after I've seen the latest episode. Dale's demise was 'spoiled' for me, too. I missed the episode during it's regular time slot and switched over innocently thinking I'd catch the repeat. Instead it was that Talking Dead show - where they were mourning the death of poor ol' Dale. It was done with glycerin and chicken breasts from the Piggly Wiggly, by the way.

If your shot in the head BEFORE you turn into a zombie, do you think you will turn into one after you die? The Zombie sure was clean (not bloody) considering he was rolling around in cow guts? Hmmmm ... as is told, the only way to destroy a walker is by destroying its brain (apparently any part of the brain; a pen knife through the forehead is just as effective as a 20mm recoilless round to the medulla) ... Mar 5 12 11:57 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Last nigths episode seems to indicate that the walkers are eating out of instinct. The one Dale ran into had just chowed down on a side of beef and yet it was still anxious to eat Dale. As for the infection, I'm starting to think that its airborne, and thats why it decimated the population so quickly. Why the army killed all the hospital workers, etc. I'll bet that's what Jenner told Rick at the CDC.

On the TV show, he provided the voice of humanity, and now I don't see who will pick that up to counterbalance the likes of Shane, etc. I also really like Jefferey DeMunn, so I'm sorry to see him go. I wonder if he wanted off the show since Darabont was gone? And yes, T-Dog is completely invisible. I wish they'd brought on the Tyreese character from the comics - now he was an interesting guy.

By the way, "From now on, let's save ammo by knifing the walkers in the head" is TV's worst idea since Fonzie's "I can jump the shark tank." I like the part where the supposedly mindless walker swatted at the gun that Rick was trying to point at him.

Agreed. In the comics, the characters much more sensibly used hammers,hatchets, bats, and even a sword to take care of walkers without using guns.

It was only later that Rick noticed the lack of bites on the cops meaning that they got the infection somewhere else.

Mar 5 12 10:14 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Finally saw last night's episode and it was very good and very dark. Norman Reedus as "Dale" will be missed for sure. Good acting in this episode. And, Carl, I've been watching him this season and he seems a bit off - but now we know why. Looking forward to the last 2 episodes. I would say this year has been pretty dang good. "I saw what I saw when I saw it!"

I have to agree about the kid. Not only does he lose the gun that he stole, he doesn't tell anybody about the walker, and the next thing you know, Dale's a goner. The little sh()t didn't have to say anything about why he knew about the walker, alls he had to do was say that he saw a living dead on the property (damn those cows) while taking a stroll. There is a short list of people I'd like to see get chomped before the season is out. He wouldn't even be that big of a bite, either.
