This part intrigues me, as I love film noir but have never seen THE KILLING:
This fluidity allowed him to work with many directors, including Stanley Kubrick in his complicated heist flick The Killing in 1956. Chuck Stephens writes for the blog The Criterion Collection that The Killing is a gem of film noire, thanks in no small part to Joe Sawyer's contribution in the ensemble cast.

I'll take your word for it, Tom (I've never seen it), but it's weird how they throw around phrases like "Kubrick does noir!" and such in the Amazon reviews.
Great fight scene, by the way. I love it already!

That tears it, I gotta see THE KILLING.
OK, back to IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE:
I like the part where Joe Sawyer climbs the telephone pole.

I read a 3D copy of this film was viewed lately, perhaps a duo copy Blu-Ray is possible, with Tom Weavers commentary, the Universal version is available still at a reasonable price.
