May 9 12 3:26 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	The first cartoon is pretty great, not the best animation but I think it's a fun extension of the films. The 80's tone is present and it's always felt truer in spirit than the later made for tv movies and second cartoon series.

The earlier stories had monkeys as pin-striped suit wearing gangsters, Uncle Ump and his candy that tasted so nice people could not stop eating it, Walter the Wobot, etc.
