Another thread on 'Turner Classic Movies' wound up starting a discussion about whether or not there are/were more vintage horror/sci-fi movies
routinely broadcast in Modern Times, or in the Past?
I think it largely hinges on what era you grew up in, and WHERE. As s Monster Kid who grew up in the late '60s and early '70s in the New York area, there seemed to be no end of regular, routine, daily TV broadcasts of many horror/sci-fi films from the '30s to the '50s... they'd be on at all times of the day, morning -- afternoon -- night -- late night.
Some people here have felt that the programming is better in the Modern Era (say '90s - '00s) than in the '60s - '70s.
What have been your experiences?
