This is a rollicking, amazingly lively history of all manner of Australian exploitation cinema, the bulk of which focuses on such horror fare as STRANGE BEHAVIOR, ROAD GAMES, RAZORBACK, NIGHT OF EVIL and THIRST, along with action classics like MAD MAX, THE ROAD WARRIOR, MAD DOG MORGAN and DEAD END DRIVE-IN. This is the rare documentary that entertains just as well if you have absolutely no experience of the films being discussed. Hartley is also to be congratulated for managing to talk with just about everybody relevant, from directors like George Miller, Brian Trenchard-Smith and Richard Franklin to stars like Dennis Hopper, Jamie Lee Curtis and Stacy Keach. An enthusiastic Quentin Tarantino, spouting off the history of this stuff, is the glue that holds it all together. Highly recommended. On Magnet Video. Read Video WatchBlog at www.videowatchdog.com!

I simply wanted to thank both gentlemen for their kind words regarding my work. Forry remains one of the most important influences of my life, and I will always remember him with tremendous affection.
