Someone at Horror-Wood tracked him down and interviewed him a couple years later. The new article had a link to mine. I have since seen Murphy on reruns of both The Loretta Young Show and Get Smart. I STiLL maintain that makeup was good ... good sense of clothing style and a good update for a monster. Incidental music creepy too. The only thing off – the acting! That's the truly frightening aspect. "Lord I love Spring! The birds, the fair weather, the new flowers. It doesn't get any better than this. HOLY CRAP! what's THAT?!?"
