This remake craze is getting ridiciculous. Doesn't anybody in Hollywood remember 1985's The Bride starring Sting and Jennifer Beals?

I was just coming here to crack wise and ask who'd play Sting in this one, but starhawk was too quick on the draw. (That's OK; I still got to use my
line over in the Universal folder.) Although THE BRIDE wasn't a Universal film or a direct remake...it played out more like a Euro-horror than a Hollywood
Gothic. (Would make a good second feature with Langella's DRACULA.)

Ann Rice wrote a script for a BRIDE remake some 15 or so years ago. I was given a copy, but couldn't make it past the first five or
six pages.

Wow, Bill, don't think I'd ever heard about that before. (That would have been after Columbia did THE BRIDE, wouldn't it?)

I believe it predated THE BRIDE.

THE BRIDE was, I believe, 1985.

We need a REMAKES FOLDER.
