Could we Kickstarter such a thing into existence? You know, that might not be such a bad idea. We still have the original negative and sound elements in good shape. Stephen Czerkas and I have talked about some of the things we'd like to do if we ever did get our own DVD of the film released. We'd include the original theatrical version but we want to do a "Special Edition" with a new stop motion sequence and some painted (not CG) matte paintings to add a little interest here and there. Doug Beswick said he would help too. Our Special Edition might even cut down on some of the talk talk talk scenes.

Really.

I will never forget the opening title credits with the eerie music....that shot of the looming spider gives me chills just thinking about it. The effects in this movie are alot of fun and I think the animators do a really good job at giving each creature a distinct personality. Sigh... I wish I had a DVD/Blu ray copy
