I see nothing in Ron's announcement to indicate that they are real DVDs and not DVD-Rs.
The quality of these DVDs (and I forgot to mention these are only DVDs)
are as good as anything you would expect the studio to release. They
will be in their proper aspect ratio, 16x9, and with the necessary audio
codecs. Nothing will suffer when it comes to presentation quality

As for the price, I'm afraid you can't have your cake and eat it, too. Seeing as these are each a limited run, it's obviously going to mean a
higher price (unfortunately, I foresee it meaning bootlegs, too).

The quality of these DVDs are what you would expect
from a studio like WB. They are not DVD-Rs being
slapped in an envelope. These are high quality releases
in their proper aspect ratio and manufactured to normal
The studio intends to release thousands more of these

Do they change these out on the site periodically?
Apparently some people who had looked earlier didn't see On Borrowed Time. By the time I looked, I didn't see They Only Kill Their
Masters. Notice that there is also a place to vote for other films under consideration.
I'm a Joel McCrea fan, so Wichita looks especially appealing. But as far as I'm concerned, On Borrowed Time is the real prize here

Interesting. I hadn't heard about this before and there are some fine films available through this collection. Can someone who has ordered one of these
please give some details about the quality?
