Hey, I still totally support this idea, but if it is DVD-R we're talking they need to lower the price point to around 10 bucks. Then I'm really in. When someone finds out for sure please let us know! This quote from Ron: The quality of these DVDs (and I forgot to mention these are only DVDs) are as good as anything you would expect the studio to release. They will be in their proper aspect ratio, 16x9, and with the necessary audio codecs. Nothing will suffer when it comes to presentation quality seems to indicate that these are full quality DVD's, and not DVD-R's. But it is ambigious. They are not DVD-Rs being slapped in an envelope. These are high quality releases in their proper aspect ratio and manufactured to normal studio standards. There are a lot of titles listed I'm interested in, and I am salivating over what possible other titles might be coming down the pike, but realistically the price prohibits me from going all Gung Ho. Perhaps if they considered releasing some of the future titles as double-features (like the MGM Midnite Movies line did towards the end) that might entice myself and others to load up our shopping carts a bit more. By the time I looked, I didn't see They Only Kill Their Masters. Notice that there is also a place to vote for other films under consideration. I'm a Joel McCrea fan, so Wichita looks especially appealing. But as far as I'm concerned, On Borrowed Time is the real prize here ...
