Jun 22 12 7:51 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I have a problem with this one. It's exactly the sort of cheap, gross, misogynistic, slimy thing that I normally despise. And yet, somehow...it amuses me. I'm almost ashamed to admit that because it is, admittedly, horrendous. But...what can I say? Maybe it's just that it's so so SO far overboard...maybe it's that, in spite of its grossness, it's just too silly to offend me. I dunno. But it's certainly the exception that proves the rule in my case. I find it kinda funny.

Jun 22 12 11:52 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	There's this great review book called SLIMETIME, which focuses on one reviewer's odyssey as he frequented many 42nd Street dives and saw the trashiest flicks known to man. The book is in VERY bad taste and the reviewer is a potty mouth, but it captures the period! From what I read and heard, it was a glorious pit of winos, prostitutes, dope dealers, rats, hobos and bad movies. Sounds like fun!....

And they didn't just run intentional garbage; they ran third-run and orphan stuff. I seem to recall those weird featurized GREEN HORNETs with Bruce Lee there. And I know it's the only place I could find in NYC running SUPERMAN IV.

Sadly, the show just lost it's head writer, so who knows what the future holds for the show. I think it's one of the most consistently creative shows on television.
