About a female astronaut who crash lands on the moon, and has to keep walking ahead of the moon's night side, in order to keep her space suit powered up while she awaits rescue... Written by the same guy who wront "Mars Crossing."

Saw it as a kid and even then knew it was bad, but I'm feeling nostalgic lately and will watch pretty much anything from when I was a kid. I had an idea that someone could take all the scenes with the monster in it and redo them. It seemed to me that all the scenes involving Marion(ette), the giant bird, were independent of the main characters and new scenes could be fairly easily spliced in.

In R.L. Stevenson's "Dr. Jekyll", the good doctor is unable to replicate his formula, because of some impurity he didn't know about in the original batch... but, these days, with modern forensics and chemical anaylisis, someone could get a full breakdown of what was in the original drug by examining the doctor's remains. (In the best tradition of CSI) Imagine... if you will... some grad student coming across the formula, and then posting it on the internet as the next "X"...the next designer party drug.
