Remember Gorath? LOL... A view of an alien civilization, in the process of re-engineering it's home system, moving Ceres-magnitude asteroids into orbit, prior to mining them, and/or using them as low grav bases. (14X18 on canvas, Acrylic)

Europa means ice... mostly artists concentrate on the huge tidal "cracks" the cover the moon. But when I came across an article in a Nat Geo about odd ice formations in the arctic, I thought... well, some of these must exist elsewhere... So, I transposed some of the more interesting ones to a slightly lower gravity, more dramatically lit enviroment. I'm particularly happy with the purple bounce light. (14X18 on canvas, Acrylic)

"The Lost Race" Again, an attempt at doing something in a book cover style. Vaugely based on a story by Murray Leinster I read once as a kid, about a woman archeologist who discovers the key to unlocking an alien race's language: the periodic table of elements. I've taken a lot of liberties with the original story, making the heroine east indian... (Does anyone else think Tori on BSG is the hottest girl on that show? It CAN'T be just me...) and portraying the ruins as a bit more "techie" than they were described in the story. (14X18 on canvas, Acrylic)
