Long buried in an unmarked grave in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights, CA, everyone's favorite pinhead recently received a grave marker
courtesy of a modest fund drive put together by a fan.
The name and date of birth are directly from Shlitze's death certificate, though neither is likely accurate. There is very little evidence as to Schlitze's actual age or birth name. "Surtees" was the name of Schlitze's guardian at the time of his death. I know other writers have given "Simon Metz" as Schlitze's real name, but Metz was also just one of his handlers' names. I wish the birthdate were accurate; it's the same as mine!
