I suppose this could just as easily go in the comic book folder, but anyhoo....I like to collect the 6" scaled superhero stuff (Marvel Legends and DC
Universe), and as anyone who collects them knows, if you buy an entire wave of figures you get bonus pieces to build a larger figure that they would be
unlikely to offer as a single figure. Recently Hasbro put out a Hulk-themed wave of figures which contain the pieces necessary to build a 15" version of
Marvel Comics' favorite alien dragon, Fin Fang Foom. I figure if any group of people might appreciate a pre-superhero Marvel Monster in toy form, it would
be the fine folks on this forum. I recently found the last piece I needed to finish mine, and I have to admit that I feel like a little kid again with this
particular build-a-figure. It just makes me smile to goof around with this figure in a way that none of the previous build-a-figures have done. I am too young
to have read the stories when they originally appeared, but as a 70's kid I read all the reprint comics that Marvel was putting out at that time. Those
monster stories were like miniature versions of my other childhood obsession, Japanese kaiju movies. So, my question is this: Is anyone else on here building
one, and if so, how do you like it?
