Yes, that's exactly what I did. They have a little private screening room and wha-la! Funny, I just watched CHANDU THE MAGICIAN tonight and enjoyed it again. The magic in TRICK FOR TRICK feels like a direct sequel to CHANDU. Fun stuff. I really wish Fox had released their horror classics in two separate box sets - one for the William Cameron Menzies Magic Trilogy and then put the others on a second set. In the documentary on CHANDU their are some gorgeous clips of THE SPIDER, the first film in this unofficial trilogy.

And does anyone know of any other lost post-DRACULA sound horror films?

Fight That Ghost (1946), all-black production Professor Creeps (1942), all-black production starring Mantan Moreland.
Fox Movie Channel reruns JUST IMAGINE and CHANDU THE MAGICIAN ad nauseum; but they have never once run THE SPIDER, TRICK FOR TRICK, ALMOST MARRIED, BERKELEY SQUARE, SIX HOURS TO LIVE or LILIOM. Why? I'm guessing that nobody at Fox knows about these films. Or perhaps it's because they no longer have prints (Fox had a devastating fire in 1937 which destroyed the negatives for ALL of the studios pre-20th Century productions. Most of the aforementioned titles exist at MOMA, but who knows if Fox has copies).

Don't know what the survival status is of these Toddy productions in public archives, but they do exist. It's interesting to note that a young Dorothy Dandridge stars opposite Mantan in that one, but because it's a Million Dollar Production, it may have scattered to the four winds. I don't see any holdings for MR. SMITH GOES GHOST or COMES MIDNIGHT, either, but all three films might be out there in 16mm.
