For example in THE DARK KNIGHT we saw the Joker and Two-Face and even the Scarecrow (briefly) but the 'featured' character other than Batman was the Joker. What Character would you most like to see featured in the next Batman film? In fact, when Tomb Raider first came out, I thought "Wow what a hidious character design!" and was even more shocked when the plastic surgery sciences churned out Angelina Jolie. Earlier rumors had Johnny Depp as the Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin. The article says something about Catwoman being played as an aging vamp. A CGI Clayface might be fun.

I hope I didn't imply that you were the one doing the fabricating - didn't mean to! All I meant was that everything that's bubbled up concerning the inevitable follow-up to THE DARK KNIGHT has been spun from whole cloth - whatever the source currently running with it. The Nolans are on record as saying they'll be moving forward with interim projects before they turn their attention back to another BATMAN installment. Nothing coming out right now is legit. Sep 8 08 11:46 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I guarantee they'll stay away from the more super human, science fiction-y villains like Clayface, Man Bat, Mr. Freeze, etc. Catwoman is the predictible choice because she introduces the element of a tragic romance for Batman and plays to the good/evil duality that Nolan likes.

A vain slightly theatrical showman who's as interested in attaining the respect of those who mocked him as opposed to sheer profit. I think it will never happen though unless someone gets Nolan to read the Penguin comics of the last decade or so.

Sep 19 09 5:25 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I'm guessing Catwoman will turn up but she will be more like the Catwoman in Frank Miller's BATMAN: YEAR ONE. In BEGINS and DARK KNIGHT, Christopher Nolan presented versions of the Scarecrow, Joker and Two Face that seemed plausible in the more "realistic" world he created for Batman. If the Penguin ever shows up in a Nolan film it's doubtful he'll be wearing a top hat and a monocle and using trick umbrellas.
