The Wild East DVD of GOLIATH AND THE VAMPIRES is a scope print, but the color is actually a bit washed out, on the brownish/reddish side. Still, it's the only way to see a widescreen version of the film.
how does anyone feel about the Lou Ferrigno Hercules from ' 83?

Any successful sword-and-sandal flick has to have at least 1/2 of these ingredients, and the best ones have all of them:1. Muscleman hero must pick up lots of impossibly heavy objects and throw them at bad guys. (Extra points if the boulders knock them off their horses.)2. Monsters- the more, the better.3. The heroine must be hot.4. The evil queen must be hotter.5. Half of the characters must be dubbed by the same deep-voiced guy.6. Lots of kettle drum and French horn, and/or that "Mighty Sons of Hercules" song!

But I can't think of a better way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon than watching a B&W flick from the 60's on a big screen.

Gee, Wally, do ya think any of those musicians are still alive?
